We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your personal data is treated confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
3. Hosting
Our website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur. Hosting takes place within the EU. We have a legitimate interest in providing our website securely, quickly, and efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Collection and storage of personal data
a) Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details will be stored by us to process your request and in case of follow-up questions. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
b) Newsletter
We use the Rapidmail service to send our newsletter. Registration takes place via a double opt-in procedure. Your email address is used exclusively for sending the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

c) User accounts and comments
User accounts can be created to use certain areas (e.g. guest area, owner profile). Only the necessary data is stored (e.g. name, email address). Comments and reviews can be submitted by registered guests. This data is stored exclusively locally on the server and is not passed on to third parties.

We use Matomo, an open-source web analytics platform that is operated locally on our server. The analysis is anonymised; IP addresses are shortened. No data is passed on to third parties.

We embed the following content from external providers on our website:

8. Online shop & booking system (WooCommerce)
We use the WooCommerce shop system on our website, a plugin by Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. The shop is hosted locally on our server and is used to sell products and to book company portraits.

As part of the ordering and booking process, we process the following personal data:

Data is stored only for as long as necessary to carry out and process the order, or as long as statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. a 10-year tax retention obligation for invoices).
d) User accounts in the shop
You can voluntarily create a user account to make future bookings faster. We store your login details (email, password – encrypted), order history, and saved billing details.

As part of using the shop, technically necessary cookies are set to enable shopping carts, bookings, and user logins. These cookies are required for operating the website (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
9. Use of the chatbot
Our website uses the “AI Chat & Search” plugin from the theme provider Purethemes . This plugin allows visitors to use a chatbot to automatically request information about content on our website (e.g. events, listings, or pages). The chatbot is intended to improve the user-friendliness of our website and provide information quickly and efficiently.
a) Scope of processing
The chatbot accesses only publicly available content on our website to generate suitable answers. When you use it, the text you enter is transmitted to the servers of OpenAI (provider of ChatGPT technology) to generate a response. There is no permanent storage, profiling, or other evaluation of the inputs. The chatbot stores no personal data of users.
b) Legal basis for processing
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in providing a modern, user-friendly, and efficient way to communicate, as well as improving the information offered on our website.

The recipient of the transmitted chat inputs is:

No further disclosure of personal data by Listeo takes place.
d) Transfer to third countries
Data may be transferred to a third country (USA) as part of using the OpenAI interface. OpenAI is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. This means that, pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR, there is an adequate level of data protection confirmed by an adequacy decision.
e) Storage period
The content entered in the chat is processed only for the time needed to generate a response. This input is not stored or processed further.
f) Note on entering data
We recommend that you do not enter any personal or sensitive data in the chat (e.g. names, contact details, payment information, or individual enquiries that relate to a person).
