Tradition is one thing… In 1544, this building housed the regional administrative office with its accounting department, the court treasury and the storeroom for the neighbouring “Alte Schloss”. Today, you can enjoy culinary delights in these rooms. The restaurant at this historic location in the heart of the state capital focuses on what Stuttgart locals love: homemade Swabian dishes with international touches. The constantly changing menu ranges from creative salads, soups, snacks and fish dishes to authentic Swabian main courses.

Essen 4/5 Service 4/5 Ambiente 4/5 Preis / Leistung 4/5 Abends ist eine Reservierung empfehlenswert. Service gut. Essen gut, solide, gut bürgerlich hatten Spargel in unterschiedlichen Konstellationen Ambiente ok. Gehen da gerne wieder hin wenn es sich ergibt.

Waren schon oft in Stuttgart und waren heute zum 1. mal in der Alte Kanzlei. Mega gutes Essen , sowie eine sehr nette , freundliche junge Frau im Service. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr toll eingerichtet. Das war definitiv nicht das letzte mal dort. Sollten wir wieder in Stuttgart sein, dann auf alle fälle in die Alte Kanzlei.

Wir waren wirklich positiv überrascht, so etwas, mitten in Stuttgart, noch zu finden! Top Service, richtig leckeres Essen, egal welcher Gang und zum Abschluss einen richtig leckeren Williams aus dem Eichenfass 🥰 Der Salat war frisch und lecker, das Fleisch war in sehr guter Qualität und auf den Punkt gegart (wie gewünscht) die Soßen richtig lecker und frisch zubereitet (da kommt nichts aus der Tüte). Sehr schönes Ambiente im Inneren und geschmackvoll / passend eingerichtet! Die alte Kanzlei ist absolut empfehlenswert, auch wenn es etwas höherpreisig ist - aber für Stuttgart City normal und jeden Cent wert!

Der Schwabenteller war sehr lecker. Besonders die Käsespätzle waren richtig gut – schön käsig und perfekt abgeschmeckt. Auch die hausgemachte Maultasche hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Insgesamt ein tolles schwäbisches Gericht, das ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen kann!

Wir waren das erste Mal hier und würden auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen, wenn wir in Stuttgart sind. Essen wirklich sehr lecker, die Käsespätzle und das Pürree haben es uns mehr als angetan. Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Ambiente rustikal-modern. Toiletten sind schön und sauber. Zusätzlicher Pluspunkt: Bei den Toiletten kann man sein Handy in einem Automat für 1€/h aufladen lassen.
